The boy has been attending drum lessons at Oak Tree Music for a few years now. Recently sitting his first 'rockschool' exam via video link from Rob's studio. The whole experience ran smoothly and saved us having to travel to a panel. I decided to take up the bass guitar well into middle age (that's being kind) and needed a teacher with infinite patience. I'm glad I found Rob, he's friendly, knowledgeable and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to paly an instrument regardless of age of skill level. Our son Joe has had guitar tuition for about a year and a half, since he was 7. Rob has always been patient and professional and has the experience and knowledge to tailor lessons to make sure Joe is progressing and enjoying himself at the same time. Rob is easy to communicate with and has been flexible with times, fitting in with our busy family life. Since lockdown he has provided live video lessons which have worked well. Joe is getting a lot more confident on the guitar now, often picking up to jam and then playing it on his keyboard. Thank you Rob.

Rob is a very thoughtful and competent tutor. He ensures that the tuition is set at your pace and encourages you throughout. Rob also provides downloads of individualized music sheets to help with practice.
